On Wednesday, March 9, the Belton Fire Dept. responded to a vehicle accident on River St. Crews arrived to find a single car down an embankment and in a ditch. The driver of the vehicle was not injured and it was unclear if the heavy rains contributed to the accident. Belton Police assisted with traffic control while the vehicle was removed.
