Garage Fire on Forest Ln. 5/9/11

On Monday, May 9th, Belton firefighters were meeting for training when a call of a structure fire was received.  Three engine and a rescue truck responded and upon arrival Lt. Stevens established command and transmitted a "working fire" on a detached two car garage.  Firefighters quickly stretched a 2.5" and 1 3/4" hoseline and the fire was extinguished.  Engine 3 dropped a supply line for water and Rock Springs provided automatic aid assistance.  The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.  Pictures will be added soon.
