On October 7th, Belton firefighters were joined by the Career and Technology Fire Program students in delivering a day of fire safety for all the Marshall Primary Students. Students rotated through four different learning stations that covered: stop/drop/roll, exit drills in the home, smoke detectors, what firefighters look like with their gear on, firefighters equipment, and our infamous Dusty the Dragon made a fashionable appearance. The day went great and the kids took home valuable information. It would not have been possible without the help of Luke Riddle, Wendy Farr and the students from the CTC. Thanks to the administration and staff at MPS for allowing us to come.
