BFD Christmas Party

On Saturday, December 10th, the Belton Fire Department held its annual Christmas Party and Awards Presentation.  The event was held at the Belton Depot for the first time as Belton's Bravest was recognized for "doing what we do" in 2011.  The Belton Fire Dept. recognizes that all of our members provide outstanding service and dedication to the city and our department.  The following awards were given out to those that went above and beyond.

Firefighter of the Year--Engineer Brady Norris

Officer of the Year--Asst. Chief Stanley Escoe

Top Responder--Firefighter Thomas Stevens(47% of calls)

Educational Achievement--Firefighter Matt Floyd(over 400 training hours)

Life Saving Award-Lt. Luke Riddle, Eng. Ryans Sams, Eng. Brady Norris, Firefighter Stephen Eller received this award for their life-saving CPR and defibrillation efforts of a male subject in cardiac arrest.

Years of Service awards went to:
Captain Bill Jeanes--35 years
Engineer Lynn Haynie--30 years
Lieutenant Brad Stevens--25 years
Captain Brad Maness--15 years
