Structure Fire-Assist Cheddar FD 12/22/11

At 03:59 am on December 22, Belton firefighters received a call to assist Cheddar FD on a structure fire in the 1100 block of Blount Rd.  Belton firefighters arrived to find a mobile home well involved.  Two attack lines were pulled as firefighters were forced into a defensive attack due to the comprised floor inside the structure.  The fire was placed under control within 15 minutes and fire investigators were called to scene.  No one was home at the time of the fire as the structure appeared to be vacant.  Great job by Belton, Cheddar and Friendship FD's in handling the fire quickly.
