BFD Training--2/13/12

On Monday, February 13, our firefighters met at the Anderson County Training Facility for high pressure airbag and heavy lifting and stabilizing.  The crew was tasked with lifting a school bus off a passenger car to facilitate extrication of a patient or removing the car from under the bus.  After the bus was stabilized with struts and cribbing it was lifted utilizing the new Matjack airbags.  The drill was a success and everyone involved gained valuable knowledge should we ever respond to this incident.
