Eight members of the Belton Fire Department gained valuable knowledge and skills over a three day advanced extrication class through TARS. Instructor Joe Woodman developed challenging skills stations on March 17 & 18 that put our rescuers to the test. A variety of scenarios required our members to perform proper size-ups and develop an effective action plan to rescue a trapped victim. The instructor gave high praises for an excellent job during the class and stated, "if I ever have an accident in Belton, I know I will be in good hands." Members attending were Alan Sims, Brad Stevens, Gene Harris, Ryan Sams, Kevin Alewine, Brady Norris, and Brent Daritey. Additional photos have been added to the gallery page.
