Belton firefighters, along with other professionals, gathered on April 20 to share information about our chosen career at Belton Elementary school.  Students learned what firefighters do each day and looked over the equipment we use to save lives and property.  Members providing information were Lt. Stevens and Engineer Alewine.  A bunker gear dress-out competition was held to demonstrate how quickly firefighters must don their equipment.  Engineer Sams won by disqualification over FF Thomas Stevens.  Something about a zipper and snaps came into question!
