Annual Firefighter Softball Tourn.

On Saturday, May 12, Belton Fire once again played host to our 2nd annual FD Softball Tournament.  This year four departments participated including: Belton, Anderson City, Friendship and newcomer Homeland Park.  Firefighters enjoyed the fellowship and good times as each team took the field and gave it their all.  In the end, Homeland Park took home the trophy as they swept through the tournament without a loss.  Anderson City placed second followed by Belton and Friendship.  We hope to see everyone back again next year as Homeland Park puts the trophy up for grabs!  Special thanks to our own Ryan Sams for organizing the event and taking care of the particulars.  It was truly a fantastic day and we look forward to next time.
