Haz-Mat Drill -- Hydro Aluminum

Belton and Friendship firefighters took part in a Haz-Mat drill at Hydro Aluminum during the month of December.  Emergency crews responded to a "spill" from several barrels with a toxic cloud.  Technicians entered the area in full PPE and mitigated the problem while operations level responders set up decon and took care of damming and diverting near a storm drain.  Thanks to Danny Hogg at Hydro for the opportunity to take part in some valuable training.
