Mutual Aid MVA 12/3/13

On December 3, before noon, Belton Fire units were requested to assist Rock Springs FD on an automobile accident on James Cox Rd.  Belton E-1 responded and while enroute RSFD units advised they had one vehicle down a steep embankment and requested rope rescue equipment.  Belton Special Operations units responded, but was cancelled before arrival.  The occupant of the vehicle was removed by EMS personnel and the patient was able to ascend an extension ladder positioned on the slope.  The driver was transported for exam and fire units remained on scene until the vehicle was removed.
