On Sunday morning, December 21, a fully-loaded gasoline tanker overturned on North Main St. at Thompson St. requiring BFD, Cheddar Fire, EMS and Haz-Mat crews working 18 hours to mitigate the incident. The driver suffered minor injuries and HEPACO was called in to assist with cleaning up the spill. Several nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution, but there was no damage to any structures. The clean up will be an ongoing process for several weeks.
