BFD History on Display

During the 2017 SC Fire Rescue Conference, the City of Belton was able to display its 100 year plus lantern from the Ruth Drake Museum.  This was part of the fire service history exhibit constructed by Carter Jones.  Below Chief Maness and Capt. Stevens are photographed along with Carter at the display booth housing the lantern.  The lantern was kept on our Hook & Ladder Wagon around the 1911 era.
